We have tried to answer the questions we are asked before booking a stay at the Duc de Rohan Hotel.
How can I book a room? Is a deposit needed?
At the Duc de Rohan Hotel you can book by contacting us by telephone, by e-mail, or through the integrated booking system on the website. We require the payment of a deposit of 50% of the total amount. In the case of a non-refundable rate, the full amount must be paid at the time of booking. If the deposit is not paid, the reservation will not be considered valid.
If I cannot come on holiday, is the deposit refundable?
The deposit is not refundable either in case of cancellation or for NO-SHOW. The Duc and Rohan Hotel reserves the right to a possible refund of the deposit only in case of force majeure by issuing a "Credit Note".
Advance payment, "Non-Refundable":
In case the booking is made through this special rate, the full amount is charged to your credit card or requested by bank transfer. The amount is non-refundable under any circumstances and to any amount. We kindly ask you to refer to your booking confirmation.
Which payment methods are accepted?
You can pay by Credit Card (Visa, Maestro, Mastercard), Debit Card, Instant Bank Transfer, or in cash up to the maximum limit allowed by law. The balance of the stay has to be paid by guests upon arrival at the hotel.
From what time is the room available on the day of arrival and what time should it be vacated on the day of departure?
Check-in and check-out: with regard to both the hotel and the flats, the check-in time is between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m.. As for check-out, it must be done in the Hotel by 10:30 a.m. and in the flats by 9:30 a.m.. If guests have special needs, we kindly ask them to inform us in advance and we will try to find an arrangement to satisfy them.
Can I check-in late?
Our reception is open daily until 10 p.m.. If you arrive after 10 p.m., please let us know in advance so that we can make the best possible arrangements.
Until what time can I stay in the room/ apartments on the day of departure?
Until 10.30/9.30 a.m. In some periods it’s possible to extend your stay by paying for the “Late Check-out”. Also in this case it’s necessary to make arrangements with the reception. If late check-out is possible, there is a charge of 50% of the room price.
At what time will my room be ready for check-in?
Your rooms will be ready for check-in from 4 p.m. onwards. If they are ready earlier than planned, we will not hesitate to take you to your accommodation as soon as possible.
Is breakfast included?
For hotel bookings, breakfast is always included. For flat guests, on the other hand, it is generally not included. If flat guests wish to have it they can request it at a cost of € 18.00 per person per day and must be booked in advance.
What are the meal times?
Breakfast is served between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Early breakfast is only available on request during events. Dinner is served from 6 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.
I am coeliac, vegetarian, lactose intolerant. Can I have breakfast?
Yes, we always try to have special consideration for those with special dietary needs. That is why we offer some products that can meet their needs. In any case, we recommend you to let us know in advance so that we can be as prepared as possible.
Does the hotel have a parking?
Yes, the hotel has a free outdoor car park located right in front of the hotel. There is also a free public car park about 100 metres away in case the hotel car park is full. At the Duc de Rohan Hotel we also have an indoor garage, for which we charge a fee of € 20.00 per day by reservation (the number of indoor parking spaces is limited, so we need to organise this as best we can).
Are pets allowed?
Yes, of course: we love animals so much that we have decided to reserve certain types of rooms in the hotel specifically for those travelling with a pet. We welcome small and medium-sized dogs with a supplement of € 20.00 per dog. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed per room and cannot be left alone.
Dogs are allowed in the flats only with a specific request. Any damage caused to things and/or persons is at the expense of the dog's owners.
In order to be able to plan your arrival at the hotel in the best possible way, it is important to communicate the presence of your dog at the time of booking.
Is it possible to have a cot for my baby?
Yes, a baby cot for children aged 0-2 years can be added to the room upon request. Cots are subject to availability and the price is € 15 per day, which is not included in the total booking amount: it has to be paid separately upon arrival.
Can I request an extra bed for a third person in a double room? How much does this cost?
There is unfortunately no availability of extra beds in the hotel. It is therefore not possible to request an extra bed in a double room. The only solution is to book a triple or quadruple room. Cots are an exception.
How far are the ski slopes?
The Mottolino cable car is only 500 metres from the hotel. Nothing could be more convenient! The ski school is 1.5 km from the hotel, Carosello 3000 is 2.5 km away, and the Tagliede-Costaccia cable car is only 1.6 km from the Duc de Rohan Hotel.
Do you have a spa?
No, we do not have a spa, but just 3 km from the hotel you can relax at the Aquagranda.
Are there ski and snowboard schools nearby?
Yes, only 500 metres away.
What are the reception opening hours?
Reception is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Are there no-smoking rooms?
All our rooms are non-smoking.
Can I smoke in my room or in the flat?
Smoking is forbidden in the rooms and in the flats. If a guest does not comply with the no-smoking rule, a “cleaning fee” of € 300 will be charged for cleaning and the unavailability of the room for the following days.
Is there the Wi-Fi in every room?
Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. In rooms equipped with Smart TV you can use YouTube and Netflix whenever you like.
