By car

Those arriving by car from Lombardy, Piedmont, and Liguria can follow these directions throughout the year: from Milan, North ring road, exit Cinisello Balsamo; SS. 36 motorway for Lecco up to Colico, SS. 38 for Sondrio, Tirano, Bormio, Livigno.

In summer, Livigno can also be reached from Tirano: Swiss border, Poschiavo and Passo Forcola. Please note that it’s necessary to have a valid document for foreign travel, and that while the Foscagno Pass is open daily 24 hours a day, the Forcola Pass is closed during the winter period.

Those arriving from Triveneto, Emilia, Central and Southern Italy can take the A22/E45 highway throughout the year and exit at Bolzano Sud. You need to take the motorway to Merano and continue on the S.S. 38/40 towards Passo Resia up to Glorenza, and then take the S.S. 41 towards Tubre/Taufers. After passing the Swiss Customs you will need to continue along the Pass dal Fuorn and the Munt La Schera Tunnel until you reach the Italian Customs Passo del Gallo. Also in this case, please note that it’s necessary to have a valid document for expatriation.

The alternative is to take the highway A4 exit Brescia Ovest direction Iseo Lake; SS.42 Breno, Edolo; SS.39 to Aprica and then SS.38 to Tirano, Bormio, Livigno.

By train

The Duc de Rohan Hotel is about 80 km from the Tirano railway station, which is easily reached from Milano Centrale. Once in Tirano, you can get to Livigno by bus or taxi.

Vereina Tunnel
Railway tunnel under the Flüela Pass, from Selfranga (Klosters) to Saglianis (Engadine) with cars transport. Connections are regular (generally every half hour) and the travel time is about 18 minutes.

By plane

The nearest airports to Livigno and therefore to the Duc de Rohan Hotel, are Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate and Bergamo Orio al Serio. From these airports there is the Livigno Express - Airport Shuttle bus service, which can be booked directly on the website.
